Hi there, Sue-Ann here!

First up, some exciting news! HeadSTart has won the gold award for best newsletter at the recent Wan-Ifra Digital Media Awards Asia, and I got to go to Kuala Lumpur last week to receive the award. Thank you so much for your support, and we promise there’s lots more great content coming your way.

Awards aside, I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately. I’m turning 30 this year, and being single in Singapore, I’ve been increasingly thinking about my future, and how I can set myself up for a comfortable life as prices for everything continue to soar.

A little while ago, I started looking into the possibility of investing in property as one of the ways I can prepare myself for this uncertain future. While this is still not quite within my reach, having conversations about the subject made me realise just how much I needed to learn before I can even think about making such a life-changing purchase.

This week, my colleague Joyce Lim looked into it, and spoke to experts on the things we need to think about before investing in property. I found her story helpful. I hope you will too.
