DUBLIN - Investment funds – known in Ireland as cuckoo funds – are swooping in to “thwart” the property market of a nation that is already struggling with a housing crisis.

Ireland used to have one of the world’s highest rates of home ownership, but has been hit with a property shortage caused in part by these funds.
