Theme parks were among the hardest hit during the Covid-19 pandemic, and to say Mr Xavier Lopez Ancona was worried would be putting it mildly.

As the virus spread, the Mexican founder of the KidZania indoor centres for children watched in dismay as the 29 facilities around the world started closing their doors.
