SINGAPORE - Japanese label Motherhouse wants to showcase the craftsmanship of people in developing countries through high-quality bags and leather goods.

"Just because the products come from poorer countries does not mean that the product quality is poorer ," said Motherhouse founder Eriko Yamaguchi, 38.
