NEW DELHI - This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment diplomatic relations between India and China. It is a momentous occasion that the two countries had planned to commemorate in style with "70 celebratory activities".
But tensions following a bloody border clash between the two Asian neighbours in June, besides the Covid-19 pandemic, have put a spanner in the works for these plans. In fact, the strain is now beginning to adversely impact cultural cooperation, with media reports suggesting India is reviewing such activities.
