MANILA - The Philippines has grabbed headlines in the past few months with its strategy of publicising China’s aggressive actions in the South China Sea, where Manila and Beijing have overlapping claims.

Analysts and government officials said the campaign aims to counter the Chinese narrative and win more international support for Manila’s claims in the heated territorial dispute.
