TAIPEI - The United States and Taiwan have concluded their annual high-level security talks, which came on the heels of growing concerns in Washington about China's recent remarks that the Taiwan Strait is not international waters.
The three-day talks in Washington, DC, that ended on Thursday (June 23), Singapore time, also took place as Taiwan scrambled jets to warn away 29 Chinese aircraft that entered the south-western part of its air defence identification zone on Tuesday.
