After the US Congress adopted sanctions against companies that are taking part in the construction of a gas pipeline between Russia and Europe, the escalation over the project has hit a new level.
US President Donald Trump on Friday signed the Bill on sanctions into law. This means that any company involved in building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline faces severe punishment by the United States.
