Covid-19 has just been declared a global pandemic, with more than 4,700 deaths out of over 127,000 people infected. As it rages across the world, Singaporeans have been wondering how long the Republic can be spared the scourge of deaths from this coronavirus.
As of yesterday, 187 people in Singapore have been infected, though 96 have recovered and been discharged. Nine are in intensive care. There are no casualties for now, but as health leaders have said, it is a matter of time before there is one.
