SINGAPORE - Even in these trying times when the food and beverage sector has been pummelled by the Covid-19 virus, it appears that the allure of idling an afternoon away in good company, over tea and pretty snacks, has not gone away.

Restaurants and cafes tell The Sunday Times that business for their high tea sets is holding steady and, for some, it has even picked up.
